Me too! Me too!! In fact, It's been all I can think of! lol I just listened to your most recent podcast and was hoping to find a link to your Flickr page. I've been trying to add my photos there too!
Hi Melissa, I came through the loopy ewe. I just wanted to clarify that it's not one person buying all of one colorway... think of it this way: A shop gets 10 colors, 10 skeins of each. If 10 people each buy 1 of each colorway, that is all 100 skeins, gone. And Sheri has WAY more than 10 customers, and I know some of them buy many colorways of new yarns at one time (Dream in Color, for example.) This is what I would like to see limited in the future, not because I am just such a whiny baby (I really don't even care about the yarn! I have plenty!) but because Sheri has so, so many customers who only want 1 or 2, but because a few people buy many or wants, you have far more unhappy than happy people. I hope it makes more sense now, whether you agree or not. :)
I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with my roomates which consist of two bunnies and a siamese cat. I also have a boyfriend with whom I spend most of my free time. Of course, I always have some knitting on my needles, and I will usually be playing with that while I watch TV, or a movie, or while I ride the subway on the way to work. Okay, and sometimes I will work out a row while at work. And sometimes I get the yarn shipped directly to me at work.
I buy yarn and squirrel it away, and I knit in secret. Which is why I am the Secret Squirrel.
Stick with me... we're going places!
